OUR PROCESS
CONCEPT
The process begins with conceptualization. Here, the artist envisions the design and theme of the tapestry. This stage involves brainstorming ideas, gathering inspiration, and deciding on the overall look and feel of the artwork. It may involve research into historical or cultural motifs, as well as consideration of color schemes and composition.
ILLUSTRATION
Since the concept is finalized, the artist creates a detailed illustration or sketch of the design. This illustration serves as a blueprint for the tapestry, depicting the placement of various elements, patterns, and colors. The illustration stage allows for refinement and adjustments before moving forward to the next steps.
PINNING
This step helps ensure accuracy and precision during the embroidery process, as the pins serve as reference points for the placement of stitches.
TO THE ADDA
After pinning, the fabric with the outlined design is transferred to the "adda", the traditional embroidery frame used for tapestry work. The adda provides a stable surface for the intricate embroidery process to take place. The fabric is carefully secured onto the adda, ready for the skilled hands of the embroiderers to bring the design to life.
EMBROIDERY
This is the heart of the tapestry-making process. Skilled artisans meticulously embroider the design onto the fabric using various techniques. Each thread is carefully chosen for its color and texture, adding depth and richness to the artwork. The embroidery process requires patience, precision, and attention to detail as the intricate patterns and motifs take shape
DISMANTLING
Once the embroidery is complete, the fabric is carefully removed from the adda. The tapestry is inspected for any final touches or adjustments. Dismantling the adda marks the end of the production process, and the finished tapestry is now ready to be displayed or installed according to the intended purpose.

Her 2 decades of experience in the interior industry, working extensively with the finest craftsmen in a rich design environment paved the way for bringing the crafts of India into mainstream Design, even if it is for the niche client, as that becomes the window to the world with India finally taking centre stage.
When her Indian cultural roots of 5000 years is juxtaposed with the world of today, she is naturally drawn to the urge to express through mediums which are close to heart, taking cue from her heritage she introspects and explores the unknown, the unfound. It is through this journey most of the art is created.
For her colour balance and proportions are the guiding parameters, where she finds rhythm in her expression, technique and textures.
